Recall #1: Clutch Issue

Do you own a 2014 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Ultra Classic; Ultra Limited; Police Electra Glide; Street Glide Special; Street Glide; Tri Glide Ultra; CVO Limited; CVO Road King; CVO Breakout; Electra Glide Ultra Classic Twin Cooled; Ultra Limited Shrine; Street Glide Shrine; and CVO Softail Deluxe? If so, you need to know that H-D is recalling over 105,000 of these models for a clutch issue.

According to NHTSA, a component of the clutch master cylinder could fail, keeping the clutch from having enough pressure to stay disengaged. In other words, if the component fails the bike could move forward when the rider means to stop, creating a potential risk for a crash or injuries. If you own an affected bike, or think you might, contact Harley-Davidson's customer service department before you ride again: 1-800-258-2464. H-D will be contacting owners to make necessary repairs. Recall #2: Gas Cap Issue

Harley-Davidson is also recalling just under one thousand 2015 XG500 and XG750 motorcycles for a gas cap issue. Affected bikes were manufactured between mid-June and mid-August of this year.

The gas cap issue could lead to a potential fire risk, as the gas cap may not seal correctly and allow fuel to leak. If you own one of the affected bikes or think you might, contact Harley-Davidson's customer service department before you ride again: 1-800-258-2464. H-D will be contacting owners to make necessary repairs. For more details, click here
