| Motorcycle Accident Prevention Campaign:
How many personal injury lawyers spend time and money trying to PREVENT accidents? Our campaign includes billboards, bumper stickers, written materials and speaking engagements. We've also passed out free motorcycle tire preassure gauges to bikers.
We have distributed bumper stickers at numerous public events to help drivers become more aware of motorcycles on the road and have appeared on the TV News to tell drivers of motor vehicles to "Watch for Motorcycles!"
  | Bystander-Medical Assistance Course:
We have educated over 1,000 bikers through a medical class that teaches them how to save and assist a fellow biker who goes down. A member of our firm is a licensed Paramedic and teaches this course that we offer to Michigan bikers.
The Bystander Assistance Course teaches:
1) Rescue breathing
2) How to properly
- Lift a motorcycle off a person
- Remove a helmet

| Many Myths & Misconceptions with Michigan's Motorcycle Law:
There are so many myths and misconceptions about Michigan's confusing and often illogical Motorcycle Law. Many "personal injury lawyers" do not know the specific nuances involving Michigan motorcycle accidents. Some include:
- Myth: “If I have ‘full coverage’ on my bike, I’m covered for everything.”
- Answer: No. There is no standard or legal definition of “full coverage.” You need to specifically ask for the coverage you want.
- Myth: “The other vehicle has to pay my medial bills.”
- Answer: It Depends. If a car, truck, van or other “Motor Vehicle” (not motorcycle) is “involved” a biker usually qualifies for No-Fault Benefits.*
- Myth: “In Michigan I have three years to file claims and lawsuits.”
- Answer: No. You do have three years to sue for a negligence case, however, you only have one year to do many other things.
- Myth: “If I have collision coverage on my motorcycle, all my accessories and custom work is covered.”
- Answer: No.
*Exception: If you are riding your own uninsured motorcycle, you will not be paid wage loss, medical bills or other No-Fault Benefits. Make sure you insure your bike.
