Fatal Motorcycle Collision Claims Life in Monroe, Michigan

MONROE, Mich. — A tragic incident unfolded on Thursday evening in Frenchtown Township, Michigan, leading to the death of a local man following a motorcycle crash, as reported by the Michigan State Police.

At approximately 7:35 p.m., a 52-year-old resident of Monroe, riding a red Harley Davidson motorcycle southbound on North Monroe Street, was involved in a devastating collision. The accident occurred when a red Ford Escape, driving north and attempting a left turn into a retail parking lot at the intersection with North Washington Boulevard, struck the motorcycle, authorities detailed.
