New Helmet Law Speech at Michigan Motorcycle Mecca

THE Motorcycle Lawyer℠ had a blast at the Michigan Motorcycle Mecca this weekend! Speaking on the new Michigan helmet law both Saturday and Sunday, Jason Waechter understands the importance of getting the requirements and information on the law out there. Under the new Michigan law, a motorcyclist can forgo wearing a helmet by meeting these requirements:
 
·         Must be 21 years or older,
·         Have at least $20,000 in medical insurance,
·         Have passed a motorcycle safety course OR
·         Have had a motorcycle endorsement for at least 2 years.
 
Riding with a passenger:
 
·         Passengers must also be 21 or older, AND
·         There must be an additional $20,000 in medical insurance for the passenger, bought either by the motorcycle rider or the passenger.
