Announcing our New Biker Card
Get it now, carry it always
As you already know, I focus a lot of time and energy on giving back to the biker community. This year, my team and I have launched a new Biker Card that could help save lives… and save money! Our Biker
Card is available free on our website, and contains potentially life-saving information to help you in the event of a motorcycle crash.
Our firm is the only one in Michigan approved by Accident Scene management, Inc., to offer Accident Scene Management Classes, which are designed to reduce injuries and deaths at motorcycle crash scenes; reduce rescuer injury at the scene of a crash; and train bystanders to tend to the injured at a crash scene, enhancing EMS effectiveness.
Included on our Biker Card:
- The basics of “PACT”, an acronym to remind you of priorities at a crash scene: Prevent further injury; Assess the situation; Contact EMS; Treat the injured with life-sustaining care.

GM Recalls:
What Drivers Need to Know
Over the past few months, General Motors (GM) has issued several recalls involving over 3 million vehicles. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is currently investigating GMs handling of the first round of recalls issued in February, which may be linked to 31 collisions and up to 13 deaths. The first recalls were issued because of an ignition switch problem that could result in the vehicle shutting off suddenly, and possibly disabling the airbags. On March 17, GM issued three further recalls of over 1.6 million vehicles. These recalls were issued in order to make instrument panel repairs; or to prevent brake booster corrosion; or to repair the wire harness for seat-mounted side airbags. We believe it's important to keep drivers informed of major recalls like this one that could lead to injury or death. We are currently screening calls related to these recalls at GM.
