Jason Waechter, THE Motorcycle Lawyer℠, Announces Winner of 2021 $10,000/New Motorcycle Giveaway

 

On March 1st, 2021, I announced our first annual sweepstakes giving away your choice of a new Harley Davidson motorcycle or $10,000 cash. Contestants could enter once daily meaning you could enter every day for the 183-day duration of the contest. Thus, providing exceptional winning odds to those with multiple entries.

 

The primary purpose is to continue my support of the motorcycle community and give back to those who have given so much to me. I am also seeking to share the wealth of e-book and video information available to fellow motorcyclists via my newly designed website, MotorcycleLawyerMichigan.com. 

 

At the time, I stated, “As far as I can tell, we are the first Michigan law firm to giveaway a motorcycle. After a crazy 2020, we wanted to do something big for the 2021 motorcycle riding season. We hope by having motorcyclists visit our website they will also see the 9 free eBooks filled with valuable information about what to do after a motorcycle wreck, the new No-Fault PIP Medical Choice Law, and advice on motorcycle insurance.”

 

While ramping up for the start of our first sweepstakes giveaway, it became evident that I must learn a new set of laws pertaining specifically to contests and sweepstakes. For instance, did you know in order to have a legal sweepstakes and give anything away for free (like we have done), there cannot be a requirement to purchase anything? I also discovered I must maintain and publish a set of “official sweepstake rules” and those rules be accessible to all people. Meaning that if an individual does not have internet, I must mail a copy of the rules, if requested. Additionally, the sponsor of the sweepstakes must be stated, the administrator of the sweepstakes must be stated, the eligibility of who can enter, how to enter to win, the approximate retail value of the prize, and odds of winning. 

 

I saw all of this as interesting, gained additional legal knowledge, and felt necessary to share it all with you should you ever endeavor to give anything away.

 

All of the challenges are worth it and recently, after receiving an overwhelming number of entries, a winner was chosen by way of a random draw. We are pleased to announce the winner of our first-ever New Harley Davidson/$10,000 cash sweepstakes is Pamela Constantine! Pamela decided cash is king and went with the $10,000 cash, which she's putting to great use. Her excitement or mine, for that matter, could not be contained. Pamela has big plans for the money. She is taking her dog to the vet, repairing her van, and paying off her medical bills which began piling up due to Covid. We are very pleased to have made a difference in Pamela’s life and it is a distinct pleasure to meet her.

 

Administering the sweepstakes was transformative and inspirational. Knowledge was gained and my staff and I enjoyed bringing so much joy to the motorcycle community. So much so we have decided to do it again for 2022. However, we are making one major change. For 2022, WE ARE DOUBLING  DOWN! THAT’S RIGHT! YOU HEARD IT CORRECTLY! WE ARE DOUBLING DOWN! THIS YEAR’S PRIZE IS  A NEW MOTORCYCLE VALUED AT $20,000!
