We spend a portion of our legal fees on our programs that give back to the motorcycle community.
We try to prevent motorcycle accidents with our Accident Prevention Campaign. We remind drivers to Watch for Motorcycles! with our billboards, bumper stickers (20,000 given away) and lawn signs.
Motorcyclists learn how to assist a fellow biker who goes down in our Bystander-Medical Assistance Class and how to protect themselves by understanding the law and insurance coverage from our Motorcycle Legal Education Program.
We sponsor the Bystander Assistance Class. For the past 15 years we have patched over 2,500 Michigan motorcyclists teaching them basic first aid, rescue breathing, how to lift a motorcycle off of a person, how to remove a helmet (if necessary), how to move an injured biker from a dangerous roadway (if necessary) and other accident scene management. Our firm’s EMT, Debbie Parinello regularly teaches the Basic and the Advance classes.
Our firm’s Accident Prevention Campaign includes billboards, yard signs and bumper stickers reminding other drivers to keep a look-out and share the road.
