On Friday, August 22, 2025, Lapeer’s Nepessing Street becomes the stage for a celebration of courage and community at Friday Night Bikes – Honoring 1st Responders, the season finale of Michigan’s favorite summer motorcycle series. Sponsored by Jason, The Motorcycle Lawyer®, this grand event is a heartfelt tribute to the local heroes—police officers, firefighters, paramedics, and emergency personnel—whose dedication keeps Lapeer County safe.
An Evening of Tribute, Live Music, and Unity
As the sun sets and chrome shines under streetlights, bikers and families roll in from across the state to honor and thank first responders with roaring engines, gratitude, and applause. The night’s highlight: an honors ceremony dedicated to recognizing and celebrating the vital service of those on the front lines.
Live entertainment fuels the festivities, with bands and DJs delivering classic rock, country, and summer hits that fill downtown with electric energy. Hundreds of motorcycles—from custom masterpieces to vintage icons—form a breathtaking exhibit, turning the social district into Michigan’s largest open-air celebration of motorcycles and public service.
